Ms. Jenny has been a part of Skyview School since 2010! She started out as a work-study student from Prescott College, helping in our Kindergarten.Since then, she has aided in many different classrooms and in 2022, became our Performing Arts teacher!Performing Arts releases creativity that extends far beyond the music classroom by building musicianship in every learner through the integration of music, movement, speech, and drama.
This approach to teaching music is based on the Orff Schulwerk method. In Ms. Jenny’s classroom, children will begin with what they do instinctively: play! Imitation, experimentation, and personal expression will then occur naturally as students become confident, life-long musicians.Ms. Jenny has her Level I Orff certification and can’t wait to start implementing it in her classroom. Originally from Wisconsin, Ms. Jenny has fallen in love with the Southwest and all it has to offer. When she's not working, Jenny enjoys hiking, Zumba, camping, singing, kayaking, and game nights with her fiancé and friends. |

My name is Mason Collings-Ward and I’m so excited to join Ms. Jenny in the Performing Arts Classroom! I attended Skyview from kindergarten all the way until 7th grade, so being back as an aide is an absolute dream!
In my spare time, I enjoy gaming, listening to music, and spending time with loved ones. I look forward to an amazing year! |
Marcie has been a classroom aide for many of the different grades for the past two years and is now joining Ms. Tasha in the Art Room.
Before Skyview she worked as a teacher's aide for a children's special needs program. She is excited to be part of the Skyview community as a paraprofessional and as a parent to two daughters that also attend Skyview School. |
